Description

The Fibreglass Purlin Tape – White (55mm x 6mm x 14m) is a durable protective tape specifically designed to prolong the life of fibreglass, polycarbonate and metal roofing sheets. Applied to the top of purlins before sheet installation, it creates a soft, cushioning barrier that reduces friction, noise and surface wear caused by thermal movement and vibration.

Manufactured from high-density foam with a strong adhesive backing, this purlin tape adheres securely to steel or timber supports. It prevents direct contact between the sheet and purlin, helping to avoid scratching and distortion while maintaining a neat and stable roof system.

The white finish reflects heat and reduces heat transfer, further protecting the roofing sheets and contributing to long-term performance. Each roll measures 55mm wide, 6mm thick and 14 metres long, providing excellent coverage for both small and large projects.
